filesbyenforcingasystemof"checkingout"and
"checkingin"files.Anauthormustcheckoutafile
fromthedatabasebeforebeingabletomakeany
changestothefileinRoboHelp?theprocessof
checkingoutretrievesthelatestversionofthefile
fromthedatabaseandflagsthefileasbeingchecked
out.Thecheckoutsystemhastheadvantageof
enablingyoutopreventtwomembersoftheteamfrom
makingchangestothesamefilesimultaneously.
RoboHelpHTMLhandlesthecheckinandcheckout
operationsforyouautomatically?youmaycheckin

RoboSourceControlExplorerapplication.

checkintheprojectfilesintheserver-based
RoboSourceControldatabase.Italsoincludes
RoboSourceControlExplorer,aseparateapplication
thatenablesyoumanagethedatabasefiles,create
users,andassignaccessrights.
RoboSourceControl3Server:thisisthecentral
serversoftwarethatstoresandmanagesfilesina
database.Itsupportscheckingfilesinandout,
viewingthehistoryoffiles,settingupusersand
associatedaccessrights,andmanyotheruseful
versioncontroloperations.Unlikepreviousversions,
RoboSourceControl3ServerisbasedonSQLServer.
